Our experienced vacate cleaners will do their very best to ensure a service satisfactory to both you and your real estate agent.

We DO NOT offer a fixed-price vacate cleaning service and we do not guarantee that your bond will be returned in full, however, you are more than welcome to hire our cleaners on an hourly basis for the purpose of cleaning your vacant premises.

Magic Maids charges $55 per cleaner per hour for one-off vacate cleans.

You only pay for the time that you utilise our cleaning services. Our experienced cleaners will clean to a high standard, however, if our professional cleaners are requested to go back to undertake further cleaning, you simply pay for the extra time utilised.

How Many Hours Should You Book?

Every house is different. However, as a general guideline based on our past experience, we recommend booking the following number of hours for house and apartment vacate cleans:

  • 1 x 1 apartment – 5 man hours
  • 2 x 1 apartment/ house – 6 man hours
  • 2 x 2 apartment/ house – 7 man hours
  • 3 x 1 apartment/ house – 8 man hours
  • 3 x 2 apartment/ house – 10 man hours
  • 4 x 1 apartment/ house – 10 man hours
  • 4 x 2 apartment/ house – 12 man hours
  • 4 x 3 apartment/ house – 14 man hours
  • 4 x 4 apartment/ house – 15 man hours

Payment

When booking a vacate clean, we do require the security of a Master/Visa card ($2 processing fee). We will require the card details when booking the job. We will phone you to confirm the order and get the card details from you then.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We try our best. The last thing our cleaners want is to have to go back to a customer’s house. While we do charge $55 per cleaner per hour if we go back, it is not financially viable to go back for say just 20 minutes, given travel time (for which we do not charge) and costs.

Unfortunately however, if your rental property manager is not there to inspect at the time, then neither you nor our cleaners can know for certain whether your property manager will be satisfied or not. To add to that, we do not know what the condition of your house or apartment was when you moved in. If our customer is satisfied, but their property manager is not then this is out of our control. You are welcome to request us to go back and attempt to satisfy the property manager.

The duration of a vacate cleaning job will depend on the size and condition of the property. A typical vacate cleaning service can take anywhere from a few hours to an entire day. Each job is unique and the team at Magic Maids will be able to provide you with a detailed overview after you reach out to them directly.

Magic Maids will bring their own cleaning supplies. If you have any specific products that you would like us to use during the vacate cleaning process then these products will need to be supplied directly to our cleaners, with clear instructions on how to use them.

It’s a good idea to schedule your vacate cleaning service as close to your moving date as possible. This ensures your property remains in a clean and presentable condition for inspections or new occupants.

Our goal is to clean to your satisfaction and match your expectations.

If you are present, then you can inspect our work and confirm that you are satisfied. Naturally, if you are not satisfied then we can spend a bit more time attempting to match your expectation.

Terms and Conditions for Vacate & End-of-Lease Cleaning Services

Magic Maids does not provide fixed-price vacate lease cleaning services. However, we do provide an hourly cleaning service, whereby we charge per cleaner per hour. This can be used when vacating a premise.

You may have stipulated the number of hours that you wish to hire us for. Alternatively, we may be able to provide you with estimates or recommend the number of hours your vacate clean will take. This is not a guarantee that the job will be completed in this amount of time. It is just the amount of time we usually take for a similar-sized property, so we can try to make sure our cleaners will have sufficient time for your unique case.

Our cleaners are committed to providing the best service that they can in the time provided.

We do not guarantee to meet a third party’s standard. If you or a third party is not satisfied with our service, then you can request us to spend more time re-cleaning any areas not cleaned to your or the third party’s satisfaction.

Similarly, if the job is incomplete in the time provided, you are welcome to request us to utilise more time to complete the clean.

You just continue to pay the cleaners by the hour.

If at any time you feel your cleaners are not providing you with a good cleaning service, you can stop them, pay them for the time they have utilised so far and send them on their way.

Our cleaners do not climb ladders. We are unable to insure them when climbing ladders.

Magic Maids carries the products, materials & tools to clean ovens and windows; however, we are not professional oven and window cleaners.

If you require a professional carpet or tile and grout cleaning service, we are aligned with Magic Dry Carpet Cleaning, one of Perth’s premier carpet cleaning services. We also have an alliance with Magic BBQ & Oven Cleaning, providing a world-class service that will ensure your oven or BBQ is in the best condition possible. We will happily arrange these services for you around the time your cleaners are there.

Please note that due to the sometimes brittle nature of exhaust fans and fly screens (usually due to their age) we do not take responsibility for these items if they break while we are cleaning them.
